III: Use instructions

1. Power on

a. Once it is powered on, full screen display lasts for 30 ms and the back light lights long.

b. Default time system is 24H “8:00”, silent mode, speaker character is not displayed

c. Formaldehyde and VOC concentration sensor is preheated for 2 minutes. During the preheating process, the LED indicator (green) and “-“ at the middle of numerical value 8 of formaldehyde and VOC concentration flashes for 2s, and then the real-time value is displayed, so is the corresponding “face image” and the corresponding LED lights.

2. Trend change in air quality (international standard)

a. Formaldehyde: 0.000-0.099 mg/m³ or VOC: 0-0.600 mg/m³

Display a (smile) expression symbol, the green LED lights;

b. Formaldehyde: 0.100-1.000 mg/m³ or VOC: 0.601-10.6 mg/m³

Display a (depressed) expression symbol, the orange LED lights;

c. Formaldehyde: 1.000-9.999 mg/m³ or VOC: 10.7-100.0 mg/m³

Display a (sad) expression symbol; the red LED flashes.

       3. Alarm setup
          a. Long press “Up” button to turn on the alarm.

         b. Shortly press “Set” button, the current alarm value of formaldehyde flashes, shortly press “Up” button and “Down” button to adjust the value. After confirming, shortly press “Set” button to set the alarm value of VOC. The current value of VOC flashes, shortly press “Up” button and “Down” button to adjust the value.

         Note: The default warning value of formaldehyde at factory is 3.000 mg/m³; that of VOC is 30.00 mg/m³. After the values are set by the user, B-B sound alarm will be sent in case of any trigger condition (be suitable for serious air pollution).

4. Time and alarm setup

   a. Time setup and alarm setup

     Shortly press “ALARM”, the minute values flash, shortly press “UP” and “DOWN” to adjust the minute values. And then, shortly press “ALARM”, the hour values flash, shortly press “UP” and “DOWN” to adjust the hour values, shortly press “ALARM” to confirm and exit time setup and start alarm setup, and “Alarm” symbol appears at the same time.

   b. 12H/24H system conversion

     When the time is set, the time is displayed as 24H-12H-24H-12H ..., in case of 12H system, the corresponding “AM” and “PM” characters are displayed.

   c. Enable and disable the alarm

     When the alarm is set, long press “ALARM” and the “Alarm” symbol disappears, the alarm is disabled. Long press “ALARM” again and the Alarm symbol appears, and the alarm is enabled.

     In the alarm mode, the mute function is disabled. Alarm sound is “BB..BB..BB”

  5. Button function description

a. Long press “SET” button, the display illumination is on or off.

    b. Long press “ALARM” to enable or disable the alarm.

    c. Long press “UP” to switch on or off the warning of aerial detector

    d. Press “UP” and “DOWN” simultaneously to clear up detection data and restart detection.

e. For all buttons, in case of no operation within 5 seconds, the current settings are defaulted and the setup interface exits.
